1. How is Node different from other express payments options and Shop Pay? 

Node is a direct commerce engagement app built for guest users and the brands they buy from. Node lets brands directly connect with their users by offering single tap experiences for all online interactions.  It removes all the friction from customer intent to action to purchase.  Node is not a payment or marketplace company. 

We designed Node to be different. The patented app was built from the ground up to give brands their own in-app storefront on every customer’s individual device. This is a dedicated space that is private, well-lit, and branded where your messages and offers don’t compete with other brands, inbox clutter, or marketplace distractions. It’s just you and your customers, directly connected for safe, single tap engagement and buying.

2. How do I configure and deploy Node?

Node is currently available for retailers on the Shopify commerce platform and can be configured in less than 10 minutes for free via a simple Node provided plug-in.

For other platforms and quick deployment, please contact us. To get started, simply complete a short checklist, accept/install the plug-in, toggle through the Shopify discount configuration, and incorporate Node approved messaging in advance of testing the shopper flows. 

3. Do I have to change my current email marketing and operations?  

No.  You will continue to send email marketing messages just like you do today.  For any emails that are routed to Node’s Commerce Token compatible email, Node automatically converts them to Direct Messages interactive single tap offers, and delivers them directly to your exclusive page in the Node app.

And here is a bonus for Shopify brands.  If a guest shopper unsubscribes to your marketing and subsequently opts back in with their Node Commerce Token, we will automatically update their email in your system so you can re-engage with DMs and offers. 

4. What changes need to be made to my existing systems?

No changes to any existing systems or processes.  Outside of the Shopify configuration, no other changes to your existing systems are required.  Once the messaging is live on your order confirmation page, product page, and cart page, you are all set.

5. Will the first time buyer experience change?

No.  There is no change to any existing buyer flow.  Node only appears on the order confirmation page where you can let guest users know that you have another way to engage with them on their terms of convenience and privacy that they expect.  For repeat buyers from Node, they are transferred directly to your website to complete the purchase. 

6. Do you offer implementation support and ongoing account management?

7. What is a Node Token?

The Node Commerce Token is a private, one-click unique access key that can be used by consumers across brands. Messages sent to the consumer’s Node Commerce Token are automatically organized in brand-specific spaces on the personal device, keeping your interactions separate, clean, and instantly accessible online or offline. And it's FREE for consumers. Businesses can use the customer’s Commerce Token to communicate directly with their guest shoppers—with 100% delivery rates and no spam filters.
